Cryogenically awesome. Hmm… I think the only problem I can point out in the song is that the word is spelled “cryogenic” XDDD Other than that!!! Great song!! Love the spacey feel that you were trying to get there. You nailed it well.

Not really all that much to say about this one. The bassline in this song has been making appearances in several of my tracker projects over the years for some reason. Like my old “Chryogenic Fire” track that I will post below. One day I discovered that it is pretty much identical to the bassline in Children by Robert Miles, so I decided to give combining the two a go, just to see what kind of result would emerge. With some Alien sprinkled in for … reasons.

How it was made

It was made in FLStudio 8 with these VST instruments:

The voice in the intro are from the Alien 3. The ship computer says it during a fire at the start of the movie. I think the voice actress is uncredited, could not find any info. Might be they used some text-to-speech software to achieve it. What do I know.

Children by Robert Miles is one of the most iconic EDM tracks of the 90’s. Released in 1994. Fun fact is that the song was inspired by photographs of child Bosnian war victims taken in the former Yugoslavia, and that he wanted a mellow song to end his DJ sets to calm down people before they went home, to reduce car accidents.
