The Lore

This is probably one of the most technically coherent song I produced in FastTracker. It has a dark cool vibe and a nice melody. Remember being pretty proud of this one at the time. Reinforced my own belief that there was some sort of talent there. Even showed it to my parents, and no, they could not have cared less if they tried. Oh well.

Fun fact about FastTracker II

It was so influential that its file format, XM (Extended Module), basically became a standard language for tracker musicians in the 1990s. Even today, decades later, modern music tools and game engines can still play XM files—meaning songs made in FastTracker II can live on almost unchanged.
