From Paris to Berlin by Infernal got pretty popular here in Norway and made the rounds back then. The single release had several edits and remixes on it, and I remember liking the version done by DJ Aligator. So I guess that got me going on doing my own remix with a little bit of both versions for inspiration.

It was made in FLStudio 5 with these VST instruments:

• Native Instruments Pro-53
• Image-Line Sytrus

There were absolutely no tools available to me at that time that made extracting vocals from a track cleanly possible. So I am pretty sure I painstakingly tried to extract it from various parts and various edition on the single, and then cleaning it up as good as possible. If the vocals had any noise or problems, the trick was to hide those faults with instruments and the right frequencies. The “bumpin’ hard” voice in the beginning is from a sample pack from the early 2000’s. Lost to time.

From Paris to Berlin is a song by Danish dance-pop group Infernal. Vocals are done by Lina Rafn. It was released in 2004 as the third single from their third studio album, From Paris to Berlin. DJ Aligator is an iranian/danish producer. He was also the dude who made The Whistle Song that was a hit back then.
