love your voice clips:) Man i love how you put in voice clips in your music, you make really interesting remixes and catchy tunes, great job on this one:) i basicly like the work, the tiny details and the entire specter of effects and different sounds, the pitched bells added a really nice feel to the song:) the main melody i also have to give creds for, nice bends which made it interesting, and at 1:30 or something you turned it up a notch with adding sort of a rythmic synth background, love it:)

The Lore

This one turned out a little weird. I set out to make a straight up cover version of “Come take my Hand” by 2 Brothers on the 4th Floor, and a friend of mine, Sabrina Tabitaux, was set to sing on it. We even got as far as starting to record the vocals. But something happened, maybe some technical jank got in the way, so it ended up not being finished. Ended up replacing the vocals with synth and adding in Half-Life to have a theme. So that is the reason its all over the place.

This entire production was pretty straight forward once the plans to do vocals with Sabrina fell apart. Just going through the motions trying to salvage the project. Got the Half-Life vocal samples online somehow, and just got the job done.

I have loved this song since it came out. “Come Take my Hand” by 2 Brothers on the 4th Floor since I first heard it on some popular CD compilation mix here in Norway. A dutch group actually, that had a few hits in the 90s. “Dreams” would be the other one you have probably heard.
