I watched the movie. I liked the soundtrack. I decided to make a song of it. Monkey see – monkey do. Fun fact, this song has since 2011 been one of four tracks bundled with the install of the game osu!stream, which is a free rhythm game for iPod Touch, iPhone and iPad! An example follow below.

How it was made

It was made in FLStudio 6 with these VST instruments:

Not much to say about this one, other than it was the first time I used Battery by Native Instruments in a song. Also tried the best I could to make the banjo sound as banjo as possible. Not that easy I tell you. The lyrics and the vocals are weird, but they work. I do not remember much of making this song to be honest. But I did it.

As the original show ran on BBC in the early 80s, the theme song for the show was actually an abbreviated version of Journey of the Sorcerer by Eagles from their album One of These Nights. It was later used in the movie from 2005 – which is where I discovered it. Fun facts.
