You really transformed these songs! I loved how you used Star Wars sounds (like the TIE fighter, lightsabers, etc.) in the song, but I didn’t really like the quotes. You did a great job on the medley. I liked the Main Theme the best.

The Lore

There was a time a while back when a new MMO was coming along promising to take our attention away from World of Warcraft. And that was Star Wars: The Old Republic. So we had a fansite going, a huge norwegian guild and I even went to Texas for an official Bioware sponsored guild summit for the game. (douchebag chewing food center frame is me) Good times. And it was during this time I decided to make a Star Wars tune we could use for our guild promotion. But mostly just for fun.

How it was made

It was made in FLStudio 10 with these VST instruments:

Fun fact; I set the bpm in this tune to 136.987. On purpose. Now that is just diabolical. The voice samples are grabbed from Emperor Palpetine in Episode III: Revenge of the Sith – and from the game Star Wars: Empire at War, specifically the Empire campaign mission briefings. I also use a few sound effects of tie-fighters and other fun stuff to fill in the atmosphere. Tried to keep the song moving at a good pace and energy, and did a mixture of three songs from the soundtrack.

The probe droid has pinpointed,
what we believe to be the pirate base.

It is in a dense asteroid field,
with a heavy layered defense.

In order of appearance that would be Main Title, The Force Theme (Binary Sunset) and lastly Victory Celebration. All footage in the music video is taken from Star Wars: The Old Republic by Bioware.
