I have been playing Warcraft since the early 90’s. Every single one of them. Religiously. Definitely one of the best franchises in gaming. And the music has been a huge part of why it is great as well. So why not make a remix of one of the bangers from the soundtracks. So here you have a remix of the Human Theme from Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness, with voice samples from Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and a music video from World of Warcraft. A little bit of everything.

How it was made

It was made in FLStudio 8 with these VST instruments:

Pretty basic and straightforward production on this one. Brought back the NordLead soundfont I used on Forever Gamer again, and dabbled a little in orchestral arrangements for the middle part. I don’t remember 100% where I got the voice samples, but I have vague memories of just copying them off of the Warcraft III physical game disc using some file extractor.

The Cult is nearly assembled.

Lordaeron lies in ashes. What good are these cultists to us now?

They will aid you in your next undertaking.

And what’s that?

You will go to Andorhal and recover the remains of the acolytes’ former master, the necromancer, Kel’Thuzad.
